Here is a useful video on how to create a story. Otherwise follow the steps below and you’ll be sharing your story before you know it!

1. Log into Power Story and click on Dashboard at the top of the screen
2. From your Power Story Dashboard menu, click on Make a Story
3. There are two types of Stories you can create, one that starts with a Text Prompt and one that starts with a Video prompt.
   
   
   For Text Prompts (Stories that start with a text message)
   1. Type in a question or phrase to prompt the kind of video you want to collect (max 200 characters)
   2. Select a background for your text
   3. Give your story a title (5-50 characters)
   4. Add a maximum of 7 tags. These tags will help with video categorization and searchability. Remember to use targeted keywords wherever possible!
   5. Select a Category for your story from a list of drop downs
   6. Describe your story
   7. Click Submit to save your story
   For Video Prompts (Stories that start with a video message)
   1. Click on Upload a File or Choose a video to upload the video you want to use at the beginning of your story. You can also drag and drop the file directly into the space inside the dotted lines
   2. Give your story a title (5-50 characters)
   3. Add a maximum of 7 tags. These tags will help with video categorization and searchability. Remember to use targeted keywords wherever possible!
   4. Set a time limit per video between 5-60 seconds
   5. Select a Category for your story from a list of drop downs
   6. Describe your story
   7. Click Submit to save your story
4. Once your story has uploaded, you can start sharing your story, change your story settings, view analytics, and more right from the My Stories section of your Dashboard.
